Even when there are no nearby water features to cool off in, you’ll find that many Australians like to chill out between the Christmas midday meal and dinner. It’s a chance to play with kids, enjoy your own gifts or catch some Z’s. You’ll almost always find Aussie backsides stuck to leather couches during this between-meal period too, while we watch something Christmasy on the telly.
