Apologies for the delay in response. Hadn't spotted this query. The tiles are Travertine, a metamorphosised limestone. The sizes were 600 x 300.

Our aluminium window and door supplier SV Glass use special adhesives to fix directly to the wall. Small clips that support the bottom and lock the top of a mirror are another option.

I'm sorry, but I do not know the tree type. I built the works but did not buy the trees. I'd suggest taking the photo to a nursery or arborist for their thoughts.

We use "mungo" plugs and galvanized coach screws to fix CCA treated pine plates to masonry, then fix the finishing timber to it.

This is fibre cement cladding, or weatherboard. You can install it as per manufacturer's specification. The literature is available on line for each reputable produce. This one is a James Hardie product, and I'm pretty sure that the profile was Newport.
