Gray is really hot right now. Even I like it and it's always been one of my least favorite colors. The other day I saw a soft pink leather settee in a gray room. I melted. So pretty. But almost every color goes well with gray!

This is classic fingerblock pattern. Was very popular until 30 years ago. Our company makes parquet to order and can make this pattern as well.

It doesn't look like she's answered the paint color question. I keep looking through the comments but haven't found an answer yet.

Thanks. Those are nice options. However, I was referring to the one on the wall that is alongside the door. I am looking for a lantern that can hold candles. Thanks for you response.

Enlarging the photo does indeed show that there is no switch cover and the switch is hanging out a bit. Perhaps the switch is broken and is waiting for the electrician or perhaps the switch is awaiting a switch plate. :) Rhoda

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Scheer & Co. Interior Design added this to These Clocks Let the Good Times Roll
Make a plain clock special by hanging it in an unexpected spot and placing it in an ornate vintage picture frame. I like the idea of putting a clock in an entry hall; it greets you as you come in and sends you off when you leave.
Scheer & Co. Interior Design added this to Give Your Home Some Global Style
So many elements are working to make this entry feel worldly: the parquet floors, lantern-like light fixtures, dark wood moldings and off-white walls, the radiator, not to mention the sparse styling.
Vanessa Brunner added this to How to Make Peace With Your Radiator
Decorate it. When your radiator isn't being used in warmer weather, try working it into a vintage-styled vignette. The antique-looking phone, frame and clock really work with the look of the old radiator.Do you have a great design for your radiator? Please show us in the Comments below!More: Iron It Out!
