If it were possible to design it such that you felt like you were walking under a waterfall, but didn't have to get drenched to access that space, that would be better. Having an entry with the sheet of cascading water in front of you, but a side entrance into the space, even if there were a step up to keep the water and smoke or steam in the room, would be better than having to choose to get soaked....

The waterfall actually parts and stops as you enter and exit the room. No need to get wet here. Contact VAg architects in Coloraado to lean more.

You will find another photo of this moat in the 'Landscape' catagory. A comment posted by the Billy Beson company with that photo says...

I've always wondered about that - thanks for the info! It is definitely an impressive entrance to the cellar. Wish there was another cellar shot as well... or is there, and I just haven't found it yet?
