Yes - if you look at the pic of my powder room - that is the beadboard wallpaper too:) The laundry room has real beadboard. I think in a few years I may put in a new counter and sink in the powder room, so I did not want to encase the present countertop in beadboard. With the kitchenette, I was on a tight budget and not certain on whether I wanted to do beadboard or tile so I did the wallpaper. The downside is the wallpaper is wallpaper and can rip. A backsplash is pretty safe from that kind of accident. I did rip a small spot in the powder room, but was able to fix it just like a wall - a little spackle and paint. I would not use the wallpaper in a busy hallway with kids or the back of an island where people might hit it with their feet while sitting at the island.

Also, the wallpaper can have any underneath wall problem like a crack or thick texture telescope through - so not good for hiding big imperfections.
