Oak & Broad
Reclaimed Antique Circle Sawn Oak floors are awesome. Often the oaks will be combined naturally. Meaning the source that originally used the Oak for building or construction will have used both Red and White Oak during construction. When the original structure is taken down the resulting flooring reflects the original "ingredients" :-)

It's so beautiful! Does it need to be painted black? I hate to see a beautiful antique bed painted. If the answer is yes, if go for a mushroom color quilt with some texture or sheen & dark grey accents & white sheets. Perhaps a light wool throw in a charcoal.

Not sure if it is still in business, but there used to be a place up on Route 22 in Pawling, NY. You pick out a frame from a whole lot of crusty beds and the guys sand blasts it and cleans it up. We had two twins joined to form a king size bed. Hope this helps.
