Hi TIna, the color is custom and slightly different from the interior color. The variation is subtle. We do love Benjamin Moore paints though!

Futuro Futuro Kitchen Range Hoods

Either no ventilation at all (bad) or a downdraft (marginally better). There's also a *very* slight possibility of a "whole-room" ventilation solution that's out of the photo frame (center of room ceiling), as in the attached example.
