Our clients love mid-century modern architecture and when they found this spectacular 1960 specimen they were smitten. They purchased the home from its original owners who had maintained it almost like a time capsule. Yet for all of its charms there were a few areas that just didn’t measure up. Topping that list was the kitchen.

Our clients wanted this to be the showpiece of their home. To ensure that we met this expectation with a design that fully addressed their needs, we asked them to list the things that didn’t work, what they wanted to change and why. Weighing these desires against the realities of the space we encountered many challenges.

After a lot of hard work, our clients finally have their showpiece kitchen and they absolutely love it. It’s been very gratifying to see how our efforts as a team have produced a space that both fits seamlessly in their home and serves their everyday needs.
