This was a really fun project with a goal of updating an older, Spanish/ranch style home to give it more of an urban, organic and industrial feel. They also wanted texture, clean lines and a slightly masculine feel. In the dining room, the custom reclaimed wood wall has a nice, organic element and we applied candle sconces over the wood for a lighting ambiance detail. In the family room the large succulent box added texture and warmth when paired with the custom sideboard and wall lights. Overall, the home has a much more updated feel. The lanai was really designed to be a functional outdoor space that felt like an extension of the inside and includes a TV plus a custom concrete coffee table.
