Entry of kitchen was blocked by a built-in buffet and an old broom closet

You couldn't walk into the kitchen if the fridge door was open

A one foot header made the kitchen feel closed in

Countertops and sink were some of the only things that had been replaced

Walk-through to a bedroom which was often used as a formal dining room

Most of the cabinet doors did not close

Electric stovetop/oven was replaced with gas

Floor tile from Home Depot

Tore out ceiling to raise it up and run electrical

Demo complete

Framing for new ceiling and pantry

New pantry where walk-thru once was located

Fridge was set back to avoid sticking out into kitchen
