This is a 2-unit ADU addition above an existing 6-car garage for an apartment complex in Santa Monica. One of the main requirements is to provide stair access to the second-floor units without losing garage space. This was achieved by providing a bridgeway that connects to existing exterior stairs from the main apartment building.
