This little bathroom needed a facelift and a refresh. We gutted it back to the subfloor and removed the tub and tile surround. We left the other walls in tact. We used schlutter/kerdi waterproofing and shower base throughout the new walk in shower and tile decoupling membrane on the subfloor. We did a random pattern of hexagon tiles for the floor, as well as for the shower floor and niche. The subway tiles through the shower walls pulled it all together, as did the black shower fixtures. We reused the vanity, and painted the walls in the "2021 Colour of the Year: Aegean Teal (BM2136-40). The mix of white, grey, teal and black make for a fun and funky bathroom for the teens who use it daily!
