This basement started off as a storage room with a separate room with a toilet. Now, the space is completely unrecognizable! The existing brick fireplace was uncovered and designed to be more streamline with stacked tile and a black granite hearth. The existing ledges were spruced up with wood ledges added which created the perfect spot for plants and accessories. The floor is now covered in a beautiful plank tile that is both stylish and easy to clean. This tile carries from the living area into the full bath. Originally the "bath" was more of a room with a toilet. Now, there is a wide vanity with storage, and a shower complete with a bench, niche and rainhead. The existing ledges were also taken advantage of in the bath by adding a ledge in the countertop material in across the shower wall to make it easy to clean in the wet area. The home has now gained two beautiful new spaces!
