The goal was to preserve the original character and architecture of classic 1950’s west coast modern home providing complete update to all systems and modernizing the kitchen.
Kitchen opened to dining room to enhance light, provide a view of the pool and courtyard and allow natural light. Additional storage built into wall cavity in adjacent hallway; seating bar installed for casual dining.
New marmoleum flooring and carpeting installed throughout. Flat panel teak custom millwork is modern reflection of 1950’s plywood cabinetry. Custom paneled Viking fridge, dishwasher, range, and microwave in “Sage” finish lends to 50’s heritage appeal.
