5th Ave Kitchen

This sweet little home on 5th Ave in Minneapolis was built in 1930. The kitchen I visited Summer of 2019 was remodeled several times by several different homeowners, each one leaving their own personal touch, which resulted in a very eclectic non-functional space for this family of 5. The wish list included: a kitchen table with seating for 8, a farmhouse sink, a pantry to maximize food storage, and a beautiful wood hood to help infuse some rustic vibes. There is a brick chimney hidden behind drywall (in between the pantry and the left of the cooktop) that we had to work around. There was a walkway to the living room where the pantry is now (to right of fridge). Every inch of space was needed in this tiny kitchen. The extra entrance to the kitchen and wall where the peninsula is now, needed to go!
