Luxurious renovation in DC Victorian row house. Floors were ebonized and all original pocket doors and hardware were kept. To make them stand out, we painted them dark grey (BM "Graphite" semi-gloss) and had all the hardware re-plated.

Layers of white and pale oyster paint create a gorgeous play of light and dark when contrasted with the dark floors and stair treads. The capiz shell light fixture bounces beautiful shadows off the light surfaces.
