This 80's kitchen needed some help! One must-have from the homeowner was a functioning desk for her cook books and laptop. I opted to replace her dysfunctional pantry with a 50" desk which opened the kitchen up. There is now a pocket door to separate the laundry room from the kitchen. Because of size restraints we removed the peninsula for an island which now houses her Mix Master and baking supplies.
