Only part of the exterior wall was bumped out enough to fit an expanse of cabinetry - including large fully-integrated refrigerator and freezer units. A large beam was installed to carry the load of the second floor, but those extra few feet were imperative to make the design work. Delicious 2" thick marble countertops are atop Dove White perimeter cabinetry with so many conveniences that only custom cabinetry can provide. A pale gray island complements the palette while layers and layers of moulding tops it all off. The semi-custom cabinetry in the walk in pantry is topped with a honed solid surface that mimics soapstone.
