A dramatic and large scale pool and landscape renovation which involved a complete makeover of pre-existing plantings and hardscape. A steeply sloped site involved significant engineering to manage storm water. Client preference for modernist themes in black and white with nods to Asian and Brutalist influences informed all design decisions. A pair of louvered Renson pergolas provides shade for both dining/cooking and pool lounging areas. Simple edited plantings are done in masses and provide textural interest over flower show.
