This project was such a delight to work on. With a few minor requests, the clients gave me free reign, & I think the end result speaks for itself. The grande, picturesque window made it all the more easy, to form a classic styled space with simplified beauty. The twenty five, year old Olive tree captivated my heart and became my inspiration for the room. I wanted to create a sense of luxury & richness but still give the room a relaxing & fun feel. As the living room is just off the formal dining I wanted to tie the two spaces, giving them both elegant & cohesive looks. Velvet is my go to fabric & I can never seem get enough of it. I find it softens and warms up a space, especially a room like this, where the color palette is very cool. Pieces enriched with deep greens, intense blues & rusty browns accent the room creating lots of visual interest. The dashes of white pull the blues and grays from the wall color with a little bit of black to curb your eye. A touch of stunning silver, for confidence & character and "Voila" a room filled with style & panache.
