An expanse of weeds becomes a productive, beautiful edible garden in this side yard design. Raised planters are a great solution for wide side yards or kitchen window views. We used Gardeners raised planters, with mulch and gold decomposed granite. A line of Podocarpus ‘Maki’ will grow into a soft green privacy screen, making views from the kitchen much more pleasant.
