In this lovely home, for a couple with their 2 tween boys, they decided to enjoy warm tones of buttermilk on the cabinetry and go with a richer, deeper tone on their dark island. Ornamentale granite warms the large, 5'x7' island and Golden Leaf granite on the surrounding countertop. A beautiful, simple 1"x1" Crema Marfil polished marble tile was used for the backsplash.
