This project shows what can be achieved when you have great partnerships, like the one I have with Eye On Design of Belleville.
The window treatment experts over at Eye on Design helped me find a fabric in a taupe/mushroom color that compliments the blue we used in this home's kitchen and hearth room.
This material quickly became the springboard for the rest of our design.
We wanted to show more of the window, while simultaneously highlighting the drapes, so we added some mercury glass antique rosettes.
Setting the drapes off to the sides of the window in this unique way helped turn the draperies into a focal point for the room. Very quickly, these windows became one of my favorite elements of this redesign!
They were an instant hit with the homeowner as well, so we ended up designing the whole room around them.
Other highlights of this room include the ornate chandeliers that hang above the table. Glitz and glamour all in one!
