The original bathroom had a very low tub that my clients coud not use due to physical limitations. The shower was extremely small, and if my clients needed to sit in the shower or use grab bars there was simply no space. Also, more storage was a priority. By removing the bath, expanding the shower, and creating an alcove for a cabinet, my clinets were thrilled with the results. The grab bars, lower step into the shower, removal shower head, space to place a shower chair and enough room have an assistant enter the shower if needed makes personal care easy.
