Alcorn Remodel

This remodel involved the complete reconfiguration & updating of a suburban home's Family Room, Kitchen, Pantry, Mudroom, Powder, and Primary Suite. Beyond just updating finishes, the goal was to create a clean & consolidated plan arrangement that complimented the client's casual lifestyle while providing specific & ample storage solutions to keep things tidy & organized.

Alterations to the Family Room included the installation of a large aperture sliding glass door by Western Windows to increase connection to the garden, a new Isokern Fireplace with paneled chimney breast & flanking bookshelves, and new finishes throughout including honed gray limestone floors.

The breakfast table resides in a paneled transitional space between the Family Room & Kitchen. A strong axis is established between the range & hood on one end and the new sliding glass doors opposite. The axis is reinforced by a symmetrical floor plan & the island location.
