A wonderful compact design in a basement space under 800 sq. ft. As the designer, I was lucky to find the furnace and water heater already tucked off to the side under the top of the stairs. I also made modifications to the stairway adding in the landing you see in this finished photos. This allowed the code required width of 36" to work. Without this, it was a builder error.
