All Hale Navy - Primary Bath

The homeowners were eager to modernize their 1980s-era primary bath, which still featured outdated carpet and a large, unused jacuzzi tub. The layout also included a cramped water closet with a shower/tub combo and toilet that didn’t fully utilize the space.

As part of the redesign, we removed the jacuzzi tub and replaced it with a spacious 5x5 walk-in shower, creating a more open and functional layout. To tie the bathroom into the overall design of the primary suite, we incorporated Benjamin Moore Hale Navy, a color the homeowners had always dreamed of including in their space. The lower portion of the walls in the bedroom was painted Hale Navy, while the upper portion was done in Chantilly Lace, making a bold yet balanced statement.

We reflected this traditional design element in the bath by using marble pencil molding to mimic the chair molding detail from the bedroom. The combination of nand white tiles in the shower completes the space, providing a seamless connection between the bedroom and bath, while also adding a sense of elegance and timelessness.

In addition to the design updates, we paid attention to the homeowners' lifestyle needs. With several grandpups visiting frequently, we incorporated a convenient hand shower with separate controls, allowing them to easily rinse and bathe their furry loves with ease.

This modernized bathroom, with its personalized touches and carefully selected color palette, is not only a functional upgrade but also a stylish extension of the primary suite that reflects the homeowners' unique tastes and lifestyle.
