Amazing Transformation

This home was a near-total tear down, a total transformation. Built on a lot with spectacular mountain and golf course views, the original home had orange slump-block walls and a red clay tile roof. A 1970s "Arizona Room" ran across the back, blocking the east sun from entering the house, and the golf course view from the main living spaces. The AZ Room was removed, the roof raised, new porches added, all new landscaping installed, and the remainder of the home was gutted and remodeled. The result is a simple elegant desert contemporary.
