Different species of wood as well as stain colors were used in this interesting kitchen design. A bearing wall was removed and newly supported header was installed . Floors in existing sun room and kitchen with 4" differences in height were made level with each other. Faux painted hood to match backsplash tile was created. The use of angles predominates in the space.
