Apartment on the river

I was asked to furnish the apartment within budget arrange for art work to be commisioned . To oversee the delivery of the furniture. Help client with the colour scheme. Take client to meet bespoke designers of furniture.

This bedroom has a lovely view of the balcony but could be a dark room so i decided to make 1 curtain only with a sheer curtain behind for privacy. This is a wave curtain on a bespoke track with roller gliders. It is available with a motor as an alternative to hand pull.

Master Bedroom

Master Bedroom

This shower had a large mirrored wall which my client disliked. Our builder removed the mirror and I commisioned this bespoke coloured glass to match the tiles

Bathroom

This is a large internal hall which is always lit. Opposite the main door is this faux sharkskin chest with a mirror above and this mexican warrior figure

Entrance Hall

I commisioned this sideboard and its been made from ash and has bronze strips inlaid in the doors and a bronze edge. The apartment has an industrial feel and was an old warehouse on the river. We still need to add more finishing touches

Sideboard

I commisioned this dining table for this apartment to keep the industrial feel. It has a powder coated frame in matt black and an aged copper top. It is finished with 4 coats of laquer to preserve the copper. The table was put together on site as access was a problem.

Table/Sideboard

This photograph shows how neat the wave heading is and how discreet the tracks are. Wave headed curtains hang so well in folds and glide easily on the bespoke tracks which can be motorised and used with a remote or automated.

Wave Curtain Heading

This is a small area of the bedroom for relaxing. It has great view onto the balcony. The ottoman was designed and made in our workroom. The planting was selected by me to fit the balcony

Informal Seating Area

This is the front balcony of this apartment which looks onto the river. The chairs we supplied are left out all year in all weathers and have a comfortable seat cushion. This is a limited edition table . It is number 4 of 100. It also comes in a Kit Kat design.

Coffee Table

These chairs are designed to bring a splash of colour to this corner. The small table is petrified wood on a powder coated base. A large piece of art work has been commisioned tp go on tnis wall and we await delivery

Reading Corner

This is the view from the second bedroom looking out onto the balcony. You can see the planting i have done and the beautiful terracotta pots which have come from Crete.
