Ararimu Farm House
The challenge was to transform a dated villa into a modern comfortable home.
The key was to update the home and create a design that maximized the farmhouse's natural light, The choice of crisp neutral shades for the walls provides an ideal canvas for the integration of eclectic furniture and decor, infusing the interior with a contemporary but rustic charm.
In the home office, I used a neutral colour scheme, comprising various shades of grey and taupe. Brass handles and feature lighting in black and brass were introduced to create a bold and elegant contrast against the subdued tones.
The end result is a home that has style and comfort, providing an inviting environment for a young family to live, work, and play, all while surrounded by the picturesque beauty of Ararimu's hills.
