An older home in Arcadia needed a fresh warm breath. The homeowners didn't want to look like every other house with all white interiors so we added warmth such as a rich wood floor, real stone fireplace, hot rolled steel accents on the fireplace, and refinishing the beams in a rich wood finish. The walls are in a great soft light taupe paint that helps the built-ins and furniture pop. The drama is added in layering the furniture and creating multiple functions within the one long room. The kitchen was gutted and all new cabinetry installed from Woodcrest. White cabinetry partnered with beautiful rich wood finished cabinetry compliment each other and add a balance to the wood countertops and black soapstone island. The backsplash is a white marble brick and gives it a luxurious feel. What a beautiful unique home.
