Architecture - Exterior
In brief, you should know the following about us; our company was established in 1996 and have completed dozens of projects throughout the Western and Southwestern United States. Principals G.J. Hassen, Director of Design, and Gerald Shingleton, chief staff architect, have together completed dozens of notable projects. Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and Texas are our primary operating areas, although we do have flexibility to offer our services in other locations. Our designs have been featured in magazines, periodicals, television features and theme design books. Each one of our designs are an original creation for our Client.
We believe that great design is a hundred things that you might feel but cannot see.
The Kiva philosophy of creating indigenous (native inspired) designs that incorporate organic materials of native stone, copper, and plaster with the liberal use of glass exhibits our reverence for nature and are a celebration of the human aesthetic. We approach our work with a sculptors sense of form and a painters sense of color. Although we have created many different design themes through our work, the thread of distinctive Kiva style characterizes all of our projects. Each one of our designs are an original creation for our Client. There will be no repetition of your personal residence.
Kiva is committed to creating a private residence for you that will blend your individual personality and needs with artfulness of design. Your home will be sculpted in harmony with the natural demands of your homesite. Intensive study of view corridors, site topography, sun and wind patterns, and specific design challenges produce the perfect orientation for inside and outside living areas.
Personal service is a hallmark of the Kiva design process. We are committed to making the design and building process seamless for our clients.
Our past Clients particularly value the personal service we provide, and have great pride in the original creation that we have crafted for them. A list of references are available upon request. Our client base includes executives and founders of Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, professional sports, and broadcasting.
