A family retreat, with room for several generations to visit, had a kitchen the size of a walk-in-closet. We wrapped it around a corner and added a prep sink to make this little cockpit accommodate two cooks, and made it light and bright, with Chinese accents reflecting the clients' professional years in Shanghai.
