Remodel of 1906 home in Berkeley. This was originally 4 small rooms which separated the kitchen from the garden. A large finch slider spans the exterior wall and the original windows were retained. The goal was to connect the kitchen to the garden, and the family "hang out" space became the bridge between the kitchen and the garden.
