A richly stained cherry island is topped with a Venetian Gold granite counter featuring an extended breakfast bar. New overhead, adjustable cans direct consistent lighting throughout this friendly space.
Custom antique white cabinets are designed to the homeowners' needs and topped with a Black Pearl granite perimeter counter. The herringbone tile pattern on the stovetop backsplash complements the beveled edge Cozumel Limestone. A rich cherry hood surround conceals a powerful ventilation system and coordinates with the island.
In the new family room, the hardwoods continue, tying the rooms together through large new archways. A wall was removed, turning two small rooms into this bright and inviting space. A dark and dated fireplace has been reborn into this custom centerpiece.
The natural light from the front windows pours through the home. New paint, trim, and overhead can lighting reinforce the sunlight. The entrance from the foyer has also been expanded and brightened. An updated and unique new stairway handrail can also be seen in the background.
Previously inefficient mudroom space in the laundry room has been repurposed into this cheery and easily accessible area right off the breakfast nook.
