This before photo is a landscape waiting to be discovered! An 1850's farmhouse needed a driveway closer to the home, an entry herb garden and access to a barn 20' lower than the house.

A gate made to mimic the "Shaker Gate" in Shaker Heights was created with historic hinges, ball and chain, and mortise and tenon joints with wrought iron pins.

This retaining wall was dry stacked to create easy access to the barn. The wall mimics and English Ha Ha wall used to contain livestock, while not interrupting the view.
