This award-winning renovation included a new kitchen, dining, and living room, in addition to two upstairs washrooms and an exterior deck. It was also a finalist at the CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence.

The original floor plan had very small kitchen and dining rooms, which were both enclosed. We moved the location of each and removed the dividing wall to create an open family space and ae advantage of the natural light from the existing skylight.

We used light colours and similar finishes to connect the whole main floor as one living space. The main bathroom floor plans remained the same but we modernized the look and functionality. The deck added to the space by having an outdoor living and entertaining area.
