Backyard Retrieval

This project was completed in 5 stages due to budgetary concerns. But with a great amount of cooperation from everybody concerned I think this turned out to be pretty nice. We definitely retrieved this backyard from the pit of neglect!
Please note in the before pictures the less than usable condition of this yard. Like so many other South Minneapolis backyards it needed a lot of help!

The material throughout this project is southern yellow pine at its finest!

This big gate was designed and constructed so the client could move her sports car under the pergola for winter storage. With me form always follows function!

As you can see the retrieval of this backyard is quite exciting.

Trellising for vines, a couple new trees, some perennial plantings, a little bit of mulch and retrieval is underway!

This is her new pergola or do we call it a carport, or do we call it a trellis structure. Whatever you want to call it it's pretty nice!

On the right of this photo you will see a cyclone fence covered in vines that no longer exists. Remember this whole yard was done in 5 stages so some of these photos will not be showing the complete project.

This woman understands how lucky she is. What she was looking at before was a horrible cyclone fence and vines.

This of course is how the pergola is used in the summertime. Relaxing and reading.

Today the new flowering vines on the other side of this fence are starting to show to the neighbor making it all that much more exciting!

There are several of these arbors around town. The only place you can get one is from me. I saw the result of someone trying to copy this. It really wasn't worth looking at.
