The original house was dated, dark and depressing. The client wanted a contemporary space that encompassed natural elements. The entire back wall of the kitchen was removed and a series of sliding doors were installed. All areas of the house were gutted, renovated, including mechanicals.
The original stair case was removed as it blocked the entry hall, and a modern sculptural stair case was added.
