Bar area Ceiling

Client wanted to define the bar area so Moore Finishes decided to separate the soffits from the bar ceiling with a Venetian Plaster and sculpted elements.

Prepped and ready for plaster.

First coat of plaster is applied over the bar in a Burnt Sienna Venetian plaster. The client did not want the plaster to extend along the soffit so the edges were terminated in the wavy pattern.

The second and third colors of plaster are applied in a "broken" technique as well as the grapes are installed. The wavy ends have been defined with a sculpted plaster design on each end.

The faux metal leaf and stem make a great break between the two types of plaster on the ceiling. This is also a great way to create breaks between two paint colors in an open area.
