For this backyard makeover in Omaha, Nebraska, Elite Landscaping installed a custom concrete sport-bottom pool that welcomes swimmers with wedding cake entry steps. The pool features a swim-out sun shelf that’s roomy enough for adult sunbathers and splashing children alike with an area for in-pool lounge chairs, and an underwater umbrella socket. A custom, all-cedar pergola with moss rock stone columns sits poolside, with beautiful, built-in copper water scuppers that empty gracefully into the pool. To offer the ultimate outdoor relaxation, the hot tub is tucked under a custom concrete waterfall that’s fully automated for ease of operation. Along the house, a new cedar deck with steps and a landing overlooks the pool area. The underside of the deck was also made into a useable outdoor living space by adding an under-deck ceiling, outdoor fan and can lights. A sunken fire pit and patio of oversized stone pavers is flanked with stone benches and a hardscaped seating wall. Throughout the yard, natural stone steps and cobblestone paths lead to each gate, while outdoor LED lighting extends the usable hours of this luxury outdoor landscape.
