Bathroom Remodel
Remodel bathroom of 100 year old Victorian house. Bathroom location is in the attic, requiring adjustments due to roof slant and chimney.
Client furnished a design for the custom printed tiles and the layout of the design was planned in Photoshop by custom-tiles.com The substrate is 4.25 inch ceramic tile manufactured by DalTile which was custom printed and sealed with a cleanser-resistant and stain resistant glaze. The tiles were shipped to the jobsite with a layout 'map' and each of the tiles were marked on the backside to assure proper location. By using their graphic manipulation experience, custom-tile.com's graphic artist was able to accommodate the image sections to the specifications for size while aligning the color gradients for a full color floor-to-ceiling tile mural.
