Seller was looking to sell her home knew she had to bring this 70's bath to today's standard to appeal to a greater pool of buyers. With her budget, redoing the grotto-like tub surround was not an option. To create a cohesive design and balance the heaviness of the stone, I chose to brighten the space by the use of lighter-toned elements such as ship-lap, flooring, marble, large mirror to reflect the light from the skylight. The dark vanity provided much needed storage and created a nice contrast against ship-lap. My client was very pleased and received an offer shortly after.
