How do you bring Manhattan to the beach? Keeping resale value while personalizing one's home can often be a challenge. In this case the client wanted a sleek urban look but was also wanted to retain his investment. We understand that most folks come to the shore to have fun, relax or retire. Our philosophy here was to keep it natural and simple and have a little fun with the more permanent finishes. We took a more modern, streamlined approach with the furnishing, artwork and even paint colors on some accent walls.
The kitchen counters with a built-up edge are quartz, one of the few counter materials where being 'white' is not an issue.
We also used the 'wave' as an all over theme as seen in the home office accent wall and the basement bar. Here we designed a curved recycled glass counter for the custom built undulating bar - fun!
