This beach front log home was built in 1980 and had never received an update. Log homes can be challenging in terms of light so all windows and doors were replaced, including a new round internal window so that not only could light flow through, but the front yard can now be viewed from the kitchen. Nautical inspired light fixtures were introduced throughout. As this was a budget friendly renovation, IKEA cabinets were utilized. A wood burning insert was installed into the existing fireplace. Seaside touches abound throughout the home.
