This Orange County HOA wanted to reduce unused lawn areas throughout its community. The result is small gathering areas that pull the surrounding residents out of their homes and into the newly created gathering spaces or mini parks that are colorful, inviting and drought tolerant.

Some materials that can be found in the new areas are low cost stackable concrete retaining walls, wood benches, pavers, terra cotta pots, drip irrigation and decompose granite.
