The contractor installed this column with an ugly seam We faux painted it to to look marble adding small veining as well to give it an authentic look. We brought in some warm tones to tie in with all the rich woodwork in the room.

This large cabinet hutch was built into the front entry with paint grade wood. Therefor we had to faux wood-grain the piece and add silver and gold metallic finish to the trim, adding tinted glazing to bring out the detailing and give the metallic a nice patina that gave it an authentic look.

the client picked up this antique mirror at an auction in the hopes we could transform the look of the frame to go with the interior of her living room. She was correct of course and we changed the whole look of the mirror creating a more interesting piece that looked great in her living room.

Although all the cabinets in the kitchen were also of this dark wood, just simply addressing the island and lightening it up brightened up the whole kitchen giving it an updated look as well. To give it character we used a bit of tinted glaze to bring out detailing.

The stone work on this fireplace had been painted over with so many layers of paint that it would be quite costly to strip them back so we used glazes tinted to natural tones to bring out the detailing of the stone and the grout just subtle enough to not look contrived. we then restained the...

This was an unusual request by the designer to transform these tiles into abalone shell. this required a lot of hand detailing to each individual tile. Several layers of pearl and metallic paints were applied to get the final look!

in order for this showcase home to be ready for viewing, the water stained concrete arches had to be addressed. We layered on several translucent coats of tinted glaze and paint to match the surrounding cement. The result was indiscernible! A dead flat sealer finished the illusion!

A great way to showcase this clients wonderful antique door and frame they had picked up in France, was to create a life-like trompe-loeil stairway that lead up to a secret room at the top. the canvas was painted at our studio and installed like wallpaper at their home.

A later addition of a surround to this fireplace needed to match the original stone work above the opening so we matched the color and texture of the stone on the wood surround so it matched perfectly!

Rather then buy a new garage door to replace the metal one they had, the client had us faux paint it to look like wood grain!

The detail in these cabinet doors were brought out using layers of silver and gold pain, and the surrounding area was faux painted to imitate wood grain!

The client wanted a silver leaf look on this fireplace surround. We were able to imitate it using silver paint and glaze.

The fireplace was transformed after we applied a layer of fine European design plaster that was then polished and waxed. the surrounding tiles were given a light wash with a tinted glaze to change the tone just enough to blend.

A short length of wood was fashioned to match existing terracotta tile trim. We faux painted them to match exactly. the sheen was also matched for a flawless transition. A great solution when the original hundred year old tiles could not be found to replace the damaged ones.
