A 7000 s.f. custom residence on a 2 acre site with dramatic views of the ocean, city and coastline. The design is inspired by the owners love of clean lined, modern museum like spaces to display their collection of contemporary art. The house is often used to entertain large groups of people. Dramatic floating roofs draw inspiration from Asian Architecture and Frank Lloyd Wrights " Robie " House. Low maintenance materials like a zinc roof, indiana limestone cladding, steel and exposed concrete were chosen for their permanence and longevity. The interiors are designed in collaboration with famed Seattle based Terry Hunziker.
