This deck and railing had reached the end of its useful life. The owners were happy with the existing layout and the permitting process was kept simple by keeping the footprint the same as the original deck. The deck was replaced with modern low maintenance materials including Timbertech XLM decking and an aluminum and glass "infinity" railing.
